Our juniors became the winner of group B3 in the Youth League third round and won a ticket to the Final Eight.
Group B3 games took place from March 17 to 22 in Essentuki. Runa started with a major win over Moscow UOR No. 4 named after A.Y. Gomelskiy (89:50). Then our team beat its main competitors – Metallurg Magnitogorsk (91:84) and Samara-DUBL (77:73). In the final games of the tour, the girls confidently defeated the St. Petersburg COP (71:45) and the capital's Dynamo-DUBL (93:76).
Runa's most productive player right now is Sofya Murzaneva – 13.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1 steal on average per game. Aleksandra Babkina brings the team 12.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1 block per game. Maria Ilyina's numbers are 12.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.4 blocked shots.
