From November 1 to 6, our girls took part in the preliminary round of the Youth League. Runa managed to win four out of five games.
The tournament for our team began with two confident wins over KubSTU-Sparta (112:36) and BC Kupol-Rodniki (68:31). Then, in a bitter struggle, the Vikings lost to the capital's MBA Academy (58:65).
In the final games of the preliminary round, Runa beat UOR No. 4 Gomelsky (77:58) and SSHOR CSKA (73:62).
The most productive player in our team after five games was Sofia Murzaneva – 16.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals on average per game. Alexandra Babkina has 13.4 points and 6.6 rebounds, Maria Ilyina has 9.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.4 steals.
