The League Council did not approve our club among the participants in the 2024/25 season.
Despite a number of successful marketing and media cases, spectator interest, outstanding players on the roster and decent sporting results, the club did not pass the probationary period. This does not allow it to take part in the new tournament. After working on the mistakes, Runa plans to return to the VTB United League.
In the upcoming season, only women's teams will remain in the club's structure: the main and youth, as well as the men's 3x3 team. Runa men's 5x5 teams will miss the 2024/25 season.
In our debut season of the VTB United League, our team won 16 games and was one step away from getting into the play-in, finishing 11th in the regular season.
