The Russian Basketball Federation has decided to include Runa in the Fonbet Premier League.
Thus, in the 24/25 season, our club will play in the top division of the Russian women's basketball league system.
In addition, in the new season Runa will take part in the Winline Russian Cup among women’s teams and in the Russian Championship among juniors under 19 years old.
Last season, our women's team became the champion of the Super League and reached the 1/8 finals of the Winline Russian Cup.
«Entering the Premier League is the logical next step in the team’s development after winning the Super League. We are reaching a new level and setting high goals for ourselves. We have a lot of work ahead, but we are ready for new challenges», – the sports director of PBC Runa Stanislav Momot commented.
