Our youth team continues its winning streak at the start of the VTB United Youth League season. The guys made a successful trip to St. Petersburg, where they beat Zenit-M twice.
In the first game, on October 20, Runa-2 won with a score of 78:68. Egor Vanin collected 23 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists. Ilya Krivykh finished the game with 19 points and 8 rebounds, Zakhar Lavrenov – 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Today our team was stronger again in the end – 82:75. Jan Dodeus scored 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals, Ilya Krivykh added 20 points and 9 rebounds. Egor Vanin scored 13 points and 7 rebounds, Georgy Mordvinov – 11 points.
Runa-2 with a score of 4-0 topped the VTB United Youth League standings. The next test for our guys is away games against the current League champion, SSHOR Lokomotiv-Kuban-2, which will take place on October 29-30.
