Three Runa players will play for the Russian national team in a friendly game against Samara on February 23.
The meeting will take place at the Moscow Dynamo Sports Palace (Lavochkina, 32) and will begin at 19:00. Entrance to the arena is free – come support our guys!
Ilya Popov, Kirill Savin and Danila Pokhodyaev have been with the Russian national team at the Novogorsk training center since February 17. The game with Samara will conclude the training camp of the national team.
This season in the VTB United League, Popov is averaging 7.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Pokhodyaev’s numbers are 6.9 points and 4 rebounds while making 39% of three-pointers, Savin – 6.1 points and 36.1% of three-pointers.
