Our team won the regular season of the Superleague 23/24 and is preparing to build on its success in the playoffs. We've collected 10 interesting facts about the girls' performance this season.

Runa has 22 wins in the regular season. UMMC-Junior showed the same result, but our girls were higher in the table thanks to personal meetings – they won all four.

Our team plays better at home than on the road. In this regular season, Runa took 10 wins with 2 defeats at Lavochkina. Misfires occurred in games with Sparta & K-2 (71:72) and Spartak St. Petersburg (68:72). On the road, our girls performed a little worse – 9-3, if you do not take into account the second round games in Ekaterinburg.

Yulia Savukova is the MVP of the regular season. Everything here is natural: the award was given to the most productive player of the best team. This Superleague season, Yulia is averaging 12.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. We are waiting for an even brighter performance from our student in the playoffs!

Our team has the most reliable defense in the Superleague. Runa allows opponents to score 59.8 points per game on average. This is the lowest figure in the championship.

Runa allowed MBA-2 to score only 37 points in the first round game. This season our team was stronger in the Moscow derby both times: 73:37 at home and 78:72 on the road.

Runa's biggest win was in the game with Platov. Our girls simply left no chance for the opponent – 115:38. Also in this game a season record for scoring was set for our club.

9 Runa players score 6 or more points per game. No one else has such accuracy in the Superleague. Of course, winning the regular season is the result of teamwork.

The best individual performance in one game belongs to Viktoria Scherbakova. At the beginning of March, Vika scored 32 points in a game with Stavropolchanka-SKFU (85:42). This is the second result of the current Superleague season.

Runa was stronger than any club in the championship in terms of total games. Our girls managed to respond to each of the 6 defeats with a larger win in the return game. The most intense was the confrontation with the Dynamo-Farm Kursk: two wins for each team and «+1» in points in favor of Runa in total.

The first position at the end of the regular season guarantees our club the advantage of its home court at all stages of the playoffs. Runa starts from the 1/4 finals, where it awaits the winner of the pair Spartak (Noginsk) – Energia (Ivanovo).
